1990: Cuisine Solutions opened its doors in the United States, offering a broad selection of pre-prepared foods of superb taste and outstanding quality to US and international markets. The company plant is located in Alexandria, Virginia, just minutes from the nation′s capital.

1994: Cuisine Solutions constructed a plant in Norway, amid the aqua-farming region where prized salmon and other delicious fish are raised. Because our strategy is to constantly strive for the highest quality, we began by using only the finest raw materials harvested directly at the source. The plant was named "Best Factory of the Year" in 1996.

1999: Cuisine Solutions acquired a production facility in Normandy, one of France′s most respected seats of gastronomy.

2000: Cuisine Solutions established its presence in North America and Europe and began to gain a worldwide reputation for prepared foods at the very highest level.

2001: Cuisine Solutions introduced FiveLeaf, an extraordinary collection of prepared entrees and appetizers created by seven of the world′s most honored chefs on two continents.

2004: Cuisine Solutions discontinued production in at our Norway facility. Cuisine Solutions entered the South American market with a 10% minority interest in a new fish and seafood facility, located near the pristine waters of Puerto Montt, Chile.

2006: Cuisine Solutions, Inc. acquired a new production facility in Le Pertre, France. The new 47,000 square foot facility was an exceptional opportunity for organic growth and resulted in expanded production and freezer capacity.

2007: CEO Stanislas Vilgrain is awarded the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award for the Greater Washington DC area.

2008: Cuisine Solutions relaunches Fiveleaf, Celebrity Chef retail packaged goods line to rave reviews.  Cuisine Solutions and Crea create the World's first sous-vide training center.  Cuisine Solutions announces moving of headquarters to another location in Alexandria, Virginia. Cuisine Solutions acquires majority ownership interest in CREA.

2010: Cuisine Solutions launches a line of 12 new USDA Choice beef products – Cuisine Carver’s Selection - that addresses the challenges that restaurants are currently facing and responds the current economic adversity.
